Two days left to go! I have some last minute arrangements to make in order to be ready to travel to Neskantaga this Sunday. Our church sent 83 Christmas and Birthday gifts up a week ago Wednesday weighing in at 130 kg (280 lbs) and they arrived in less than a week! Everything appears ready to be given out during a youth feast on December 20th. I can’t wait to see that! I have been assisting other people serving in the Neskantaga community for two years and it has almost achieved an abstractness in my mind. It is hard to believe that next week I will be there seeing it for myself!
Sadly, I learned this week that a man named Bruce Moonias took his own life early this week. He died on the operating table in Thunder Bay on Monday. The funeral is today so please pray for his family.
In doing some searching I found some local music recorded by the “Moonias Brothers”. I would like to meet these guys while I am there
